Gregory Shaffer, Esq. currently serves as Coordinator of the Pre-Law Advising Office in Letters & Sciences at the University of Maryland. Greg is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate from the University of Maryland with degrees in Government & Politics and Economics. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame Law School, he completed a judicial clerkship in Baltimore and spent 4 years practicing corporate law in Baltimore and Washington, DC. Greg returned to the University in 2003, where he has served as the Pre-Law Advisor while pursuing a doctoral degree in Government & Politics.

Neil Dhingra serves as a Graduate Assistant/Pre-Law Advisor in Letters & Sciences at the University of Maryland. Neil is a doctoral student in the Teaching and Learning, Policy and Leadership Program at the University of Maryland, College Park. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University and a Master of Arts degree in history from the University of Notre Dame. Prior to his work at the University of Maryland, Neil taught courses within the state at local Community Colleges.
The Pre-Law Advising Office is open Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-4:30PM. Walk in hours are available for all students, though juniors and seniors are encouraged to set up a specific appointment time.
